JNANA IS THE CAUSE OF YOUR BEING DISENCHANTED WITH HEYA,
RENDERED CONSCIOUS OF THE HEYA-HETU,
INSPIRED TO SEARCH FOR HANOPAYA,
TO BE ATTAINED TO HANA, ULTIMATELY.
What is Jnana : Also known as Viveka-Khyati, it is faculty of discriminative cognition.
What is Ajnana : Absence of Jnana is Ajnana.
What is Heya : Miseries, agonies, despondence… all that Jivatma is averse to.
What is Heya-Hetu : Causes of miseries and agonies that torment Jivatma under Ajnana
i.e. absence of discriminative cognition.
What is Hana : All that imparts bliss, tranquility and emancipation from the shackles of Heya upon you.
What is Hanopaya : All the means and pursuits that drift Jivatma away from Heya.
Everything else is wisdom / knowledge / information other than Jnana defined as above.
